Opioid and Benzodiazepine Support
Opioid Support Group

This group is aimed at providing mutual support between members dealing with opioid dependence and withdrawal. It is moderated to ensure a constructive and positive experience. Each group begins with a brief informational session by a guest speaker specialized in opioid dependence, tapering and withdrawal. Studies show that education on tapering increases successful tapers by five times.
Benzodiazepine Group

This group is aimed at providing mutual support between members dealing with benzodiazepine dependence and withdrawal. It is moderated to ensure a constructive and positive experience. This group is aimed at providing mutual support between members dealing with anxiety and depression. . It is moderated to ensure a constructive and positive experience. Each group incorporates mindfulness practices shown have positive impacts on emotion regulation and mood management. Mindfulness practices strengthen the mind-body connection to treat anxiety and depression by helping individuals to learn to regulate their nervous systems.
Mindfulness for Resilience

This support group utilizes mindfulness meditation and positive psychological principles to offer an opportunity to learn to better manage your emotions and improve your overall well being by directly tapping in and regulating your nervous system using evidence based mind body practice.
Covid-19 Longhauler

This group is for people still suffering from the lasting symptoms of COVID 19 who are trying to navigate their way to recovery. It will be a place to learn, share, connect and support each other during this testing time. Led by a therapist and survivor of neurological symptomatology from an antibiotic injury, you will find a positive space to gain support from your peers.
New and Expecting Moms Support Group

This support group may be beneficial to both new and expecting mothers by increasing coping skills, decreasing stress and reducing postpartum depression. These groups can improve social and overall well-being.
Surgery Preparedness

This group is designed to help you prepare for your upcoming surgery. These add on groups will offer opportunities for discussions around managing chronic pain before surgery, building mental resilience, dealing with the uncertainty of a new diagnosis or treatment plan, questions to ask your surgeon before and on the day of surgery.
Cancer Empowerment

This group is led by a Lucid Lane therapist who is a cancer survivor and defeated it. Cancer diagnosis can be a life-altering event, but it is not something you have to experience alone. In this group, you’ll be able to share your experience with people who can relate, develop techniques and strategies to manage anxiety, depression and pain. This group will also invite speakers who are experts in cancer treatment, providing exclusive insight into how we can work together and support one another through difficult times.

Athlete Support Group

This group is for college and professional athletes, current and former, and the challenges that they regularly face. Led by a psychiatrist who specializes in this population, it will focus on issues ranging from injuries and expectations to career concerns, performance and coping mechanisms for mental, behavioral and pain issues.
Recovery
CRAFT - Family Group

Support group for family members of those struggling with addiction. Research on CRAFT shows that about 70% of families who receive CRAFT are able to get their loved ones into treatment within a year (Miller, Meyers, & Tonigan, 1999). CRAFT also helps family members improve their own lives, whether their loved one ends up seeking treatment or not.
Recovery Skills Group For Substance Use Disorder

Mindfulness practices offer an opportunity to increase awareness and develop the ability to increase distress tolerance triggers that lead to addictive behavior.
